European Forum of Deposit Insurers (EFDI)

EFDI was founded in October 2002 in Wien and has now 54 member Schemes belonging to 39 countries of European Area.

Since August 2004, the Secretary General of the FITD has taken the Chairmanship of the Forum.

 9^th February 2010: meeting of the Working Group on Deposit

      Guarantee Schemes in Brussels.

 26^th February 2010: EFDI Board in Rome.

 26^th March 2010: EFDI EU Committee meeting in London.

  21^st May 2010: meeting of the EFDI Working Group on

     credit cooperative in Vienna.

  26^th-28^th May 2010: EFDI Board in Istanbul.

  30^th June 2010: Workshop on "Preparing for faster payment"

      in London.

  1^st September 2010: EFDI Board in Paris.
